I bought a sureflap cat flap. Was ideal for several months, I then started to experience problems. I decided to send an e mail to the company advising them of the issues. There response was second to none. If all companies responded to there standard life would be so much nicer. I did not have to argue with them, they assessed the situation and responded accordingly. I would advise any customer experiencing problems, dont write a negative review, contact the customer service team, they are exceptional!A

I bought this recently as we had an 'intruder' in the house a few times which was causing my kitten a lot of distress. Took a few days to get used to it, especially as the flap was smaller than the original flap but after about 4 or 5 days he was using it happily enough. He hasn't quite worked out that other cats can't get in but he is settling down and is less stressed than he was. I just hope he doesn't get too big for the hole as it would mean getting a new glazed panel with a bigger hole.

This is perfect for what I needed it for, it keeps out neighbours/stray cats whilst also giving my cat the freedom to come and go as he pleases, plus no more lost chips that you have to attach to collars!

We've had this installed for over a year and it was a great decision to swap to a microchip flap. No more lost collars and having to pay for new ones. Very reliable once programmed. Easy to fit and the cats use it easily. Quieter than the infra red flaps. Very good product, would definitely upgrade to this.

Three days after installation, I can say this product works well, but the draught-proofing doesn't work. The flap rim does have a fuzzy material on it, presumably intended to seal against draughts, but it doesn't actually reduce the 2 mm gap all around the flap, which makes it very draughty when the wind blows.

I am so impressed! I acquired a Sureflap cat flap when I moved into my house two years ago and it has worked perfectly the whole time. Recently however I was woken at 1am to a cat fight and came downstairs to find a large ginger tom had gotten in and was stuck! Realised the cat flap had broken so following the online troubleshooter on the company website they diagnosed a problem they could resolve with a new part so at 3am on a Tuesday morning I got an automatic notification that they would send it out, which after another notification at 5pm the same afternoon, they did. It arrived the next day and was actually a complete replacement for the inside frame/door/latch. With their clear video tutorials it was easy to switch over and by 6pm on Wednesday it was as good as new and it didn't cost a penny! Efficient, effective and easy!

My male cat has to have special wet renal food but the female (who eats dry food) loves to eat it and then gets sick. This has been a time-saver as I don't now have to watch over them when they eat. He learnt very quickly how to use it and it's worth it's weight in gold.

We have two cats, one is a chubby cops and the other has food intolerance so we could not keep both cats without this fab solution. Takes a little effort to get them used to it but even our female (nickname PTSD kitty) got the hang of it. Working well after nearly a year. Lucille, our female has occasionally bullied her way into Ernest's food by holding the flap back with her head, but luckily he has never got into hers as he has the food intolerance. Also great for keeping flies off the food.

I bought this as a replacement for the SureFlap Cat Flap I fitted a year ago as the opening on the Pet Door is usefully higher and a bit wider for our smaller medium sized cat and also good size to look out from to check it’s safe the other side. It also has many other very useful benefits, such as custom modes for timid cats and further protection against intruder animals mode and many other benefits, especially for multi-pet households. Our cat and we are very satisfied with the Pet Door.

If you have a super greedy cat and a grazer cat like I do, this product is a must have in your household. I hesitated over the price for quite a while but there is nothing else like it out there. It is quite a big contraption but now I can feed my grazer cat and walk away knowing that the greedy cat will not be able to steal his food as soon as he can (it is very satisfying watching him try). The grazer cat will then be able to eat his food throughout the day as and when he pleases.

I first bought the SureFlap cat flap for my old flat, about 3 years ago. Previous to that I had spent a fortune on magnetic and then the petporte cat flaps. One of my cats, who likes to use his paws to open the door got himself stuck in both the magnetic and petporte ones, but never in the Sureflap. It's very well designed - the others led to break ins, but not the Sureflap. When I moved I bought another one for a double glazed door panel and it looks and works brilliantly. Highly recommend!

We were having secret visitors via our old cat flap and my cat was getting distressed, so we bought one of these, and after a few encouraging treats for him to get used to the new flap - it is a bit harder to push then the ordinary type, he was in and out without any problems. it is easy to set up, and definitely stops any unwanted visitors, and now my kitty can call his house and food his own.

I was a little skeptical that this was worth nearly £80, but it was so worth it. After about a week of the training mode, cat #1 (who likes to pick at her food throughout the day) had learned how to use it properly, and cat #2 (who is a greedy little fluff) has been desperately trying to work out how to get at the food ever since. Success! Highly recommended.

I have one elderly, grazing cat, who was getting thinner and thinner, and 3 greedy cats that need dieting. This allows me not to worry that the oldie gets enough food. And he is getting fatter. I really think it has bought him years of life!

At first I wasn't sure as our cat was very reluctant to use it....he's very cautious anyways and I think it freaked him a little when we programmed it as he wondered what was happening Anyway, because he was so reluctant to use it, I did what was suggested in the booklet and took out the batteries so that he could use it as a "normal" cat flap Then after a few days I just slipped the batteries in again whilst he was out and ever since then he has been coming in fine and not suspected a thing!

I purchased this so my elderly, thin cat could have free access to food without my fat boy eating it all. Took her just 2 weeks to work it, unfortunately fat boy quickly worked it out too. My old girl tolerates fat cat so they are both able to get under the chip reader together! Even if she isn't up to sharing, fat cat is tall enough to reach over the side plate and steal biscuits! So not ideal if you have cats that are friendly with each other or tall enough to reach over the sides.

This has changed our life ! seriously ! for anyone who has other cats coming through their Catflap then this is for you. We installed a couple of days ago and it is brilliant. Our cat loves it as no more unwanted guests and he used it straight away. Very, very clever how it works and worth every penny

Other cats than mine cannot come into my house anymore. They used to terrorize my cats, eat my expensive cat food and wee in every corner. Thanks to this flap. This is finished. My cats are happy and so am I!

This is the best product on the market and the Customer Service is excellent. Have had a few minor probs and they have rectified everyone free of charge. I have a very nervous cat and she is happy to sit by the flap watching outside knowing that a big stray tabby can't get in. I almost think she looks smugly at him sometimes. My other confident one goes in and out all the time but think she likes the reassurance of that click as it locks behind her. I am just about to fit another flap. They are easy to put in too. You won't be disappointed.
