Composts brilliantly, no smell, best litter ever.
Over the past 17 years, with around 6 cats usually, I have tried lots of different litters, including World's Best, and all the rest. I prefer this one. I scoop poos, shake in the scoop to remove excess litter, and flush down the loo. Clumps of wet litter are scooped into a lidded bucket once a day and put on the compost heap, where the nitrogen is a great compost accelerator . This composts really quickly because it retains moisture. The wet areas turn into a soft clump like a ball of dough that is easily scooped out. Works best if you have a good depth of litter; if it's too shallow then the wet clumps go sticky. I've not had a problem with tracking; much better than wood pellets from that point of view. I do use it in deep litter trays mainly , ie plastic storage boxes, and when the cats climb out the litter falls back in. This is a tip I read ages ago , and certainly my cats prefer the deep boxes to normal cat litter trays.

They will not use any other!
We bought this litter a few of years ago now maybe 3 or 4 and it is really good. It clumps together really well meaning you don't miss any. It is handy that you can empty it down the toilet or if you are in a rush into a bin bag.
As the title of this review says, our cats love it. To the point that if we run out and as a temporary measure buy something else till we can order some more, They REFUSE to use the litter tray.
They would rather go on the carpet in the front room. Which is rather inconvenient for us!
So yeah, 10/10 for the litter.
The only downfall the litter has which isn't major, the cats do tend to track the litter all round the house.

Fantastic litter
We would highly recommend this. It lasts such a long time and completely hides any smells very well too. We bought a 40litre bag 7 weeks ago for our 2 kittens and haven't even used half of it yet. Brilliant product and zooplus have the most competitive price for it

Good but not Fantastic
I have 4 indoor cats and switched to this litter a couple of months ago, because a lot of reviews said it was low dust, I’d hate to think what they would call a lot of dust because the dust is far worse than it was from the clay based litter I was using, you can see clouds of dust floating up and around the cats as they use the litter trays which makes me wonder what kind of effect its having on their lungs. Its odour disguising properties are fantastic (or at least it is unless you have a kitty that refuses point blank to bury his mess) it lasts for ages and the cats seem to love it, it tracks everywhere, the floor around the litter trays looks like an explosion in a cornflake factory.

Beats the rest
Very easy to remove soiled particles and renew with clean litter. Economical, very good at absorbing any odour. Cats soon get used to using it, but it does tend to "tread" on their paws, but overall the best cat litter I have used

Our favourite litter
Really good product. Environmentally friendly because it is made of wood chips, because it is light and absorbs many times its mass, because it doesn't come from Canada unlike most clays and because it is flushable (think dispersible aspirin tablet, it just breaks down into dust when in water!). Also, it does track but no more than others and much less than very fine clay litters, being light coloured poo is immediately visible and, it blocks the smells rather well with no chemicals! Lastly, it is economical as it lasts for really really long so even though the purchase price is higher, we have calculated that it is no more expensive than the cheap brands to use. Awesome product.

Excellent
Considering the less than glamorous task of scrabbling around in a tray full of undesirable, this makes the task as easy as it could be.
The litter tray for my kitten Ursula is right outside the toilet, and I can easily scoop out the clumps and flush it down the loo with minimal gagging and nose pinching. I keep a handheld hoover by the tray to deal with the tracking (that I had been pre-warned about).

Absolutely the best
This cat litter is excellent. Controls smells, clumps beautifully, flushes easily. If you use a good mat next to the tray you'll also get very little tracking. Put a tray filled with this next to your human toilet for convenient disposal, get a nice big scoop like the Litter Lifter one, and then cleaning the tray takes you about 10 seconds. Top quality product and can't recommend highly enough.

Best Oko Plus
I like this product because not only can I flush the clumps down the toilet, I can then empty the tray into the composter. It seems to trap odours well too. There is a tracking problem but its no worse than the most expensive cat litter available and you don't need to use as much as some of the cheaper brands.

Simply the best cat litter!
We've tried all the main stream litters available and with 10 cats it's no joke the cost of litter! This litter is simply the the best value we have found! Although it tracks more than some of the crystal type litter it clumps really well and reduces some of the more unpleasant smells from the litter box! One 40l bag lasts our 10 mainly indoor cats a month it's an absolute bargain!

No other litter beats this one!
I have had the priviledge of sharing my home with several cats for the past 50 years and now have 3 with me.
As such, I've been through many brands and varieties of cat litter in my unending search of one that would help mask the pungent smell of our furry friends leavings!!
I discovered Cats Best Oko Plus some years back and have never looked back!! This is the one that stops all smells pervading your house! Its lightweight, easy to use and easy to clean. The only very small drawback in my opinion is that it does get scattered a little around the litter area as it IS so lightweight. But I would put up with that everytime just for its efficiency in masking smells!
Believe me.... Try it once and you will be stuck with this one forever!!
And at this special price.... It lasts a long time too!!

Will never go back!
This may be a little more expensive than other litters but it's certainly worth it. Clumps exceedingly well and traps the odours by drawing out the moisture. This also makes it so much easier to scoop! I have 5 cats and 3 (lidded and filtered) trays but only have to change the base material every 3-4 weeks. Would certainly recommend.

The best, most convenient litter ever tried. Cats love it!
We have two cats, oriental and siamese. When we just had the siamese we struggled to find the right litter for us and him, especially after he developed a problem called water diabetes which means he drinks an awful lot and pees a lot. He's also quite fussy when returning to a soiled litter tray.
After trying clay, pellet, silicon and others, both clumping and non-clumping, we happened upon Oko Best. We have not looked back and neither have the cats.
It clumps well, absorbs most odours and is easy to dispose of. None of that ammonia stink other litter struggles to deal with.
We actually have a bin next to the trays as the quantity of waste produced by both is too much for the toilet system. Having said that you can easily flush it and we did when we only had one cat before he developed the problem.
We can throw it in the he bin with relative impunity because it is biodegradable and we use biodegradable sacks before putting it in our normal household refuse.
With the two cats we can leave both large trays for a day if needs be although we try and valet them morning and evening.
The breeder of the oriental also used this litter so the little newcomer was used to it straight away and hasn't had a single accident in his first year.
It doesn't create much mess, any more than any other litter. That's more to do with how people set up litter trays. There is always going to be some tracking but we keep a handheld Hoover in the he room and dustpan and brush and all is well. Better than the horrid clay clumping stuff which has so much dust. This does not produce dust at all so cleaning is easy.
We have now been using Oko Best for 18 months.
We love ordering from zooplus because it's the only place you can get the mega 40l delivered to your door at a great price.
Can't see us ever changing.
