Good for dogs that are quite destructive or bolshy. I would say not as good for those a bit more sensitive about toys. The plastic is quite hard to roll around which is fine for some breeds or personalities of dog but mine for example enjoyed chasing it but did not enjoy it when the ball was rolled towards her as obviously the impact of when it reaches her put her off as it was so solid. Worth a try though to see what your dog makes of it :)

My lurcher puppy needs strong durable toys because he has a strong bite and loves to chew everything. Quite impressed that this lasted about a week before he managed to puncture it. He loves it because it skids off at an angle when he lunges / pounces at it. But sadly now it's punctured he can pick it up in his mouth which doesn't seem to hold the same fun for him. I think most big bouncy dogs would love it, perhaps not so much less playful or smaller breeds as it needs movement to hold their interest for long. Quite hard to kick too but good for not getting lost in the bushes.
