However, I needed scissors to open it, which isn’t really how it’s supposed to work. The food is pressed into small, appealing pieces. Our mixed-breed dog accepted them straight away. Unfortunately, the sample pack was small, just 240g, and was gone in 3 days. Whether the food actually has any effects...

Review based on 3 weeks of using a free sample. These opinions are my own. The product comes in the form of small, tasty and soft bites, easy to give to the dog "like treats". My old dog took them without any problem and seemed to enjoy them. After three weeks, his overall condition seems to have improved. He seems more flexible and energetic. I think I'll continue to see how effective it is over a longer period.

He’s starting to have joint issues, but three weeks isn’t enough time to really judge the effectiveness, so I can’t say much about that yet. I’m going to start another round. The resealable pouch is really handy.

After every walk, she asks for her treat. And wow, what a joy these little energy balls have been for her—we were lucky to try them! The size is perfect and she loves the taste. I’ve really noticed a difference in her comfort and mobility. I truly recommend this.

My almost 13-year-old dog has always been very picky with her food, but she absolutely loves the products from Royal Canin! With these treats, she also gets lots of age-appropriate nutrients that are otherwise only available in powdered form. The Joint & Ageing Chews make age-appropriate supplementation easy to dose, and as I said, my dog eats them without any fuss.

At first glance, the treat doesn’t look very appetising but my dog absolutely loves it. As soon as I open the packet, he comes and sits next to me to get one. And as soon as I give it to him, it’s gone in a flash. I haven’t noticed any changes in his joints yet.

My dog suffers from arthritis in one leg, and I have to take him to the vet regularly for pain relief injections. Sometimes he limps, sometimes he doesn’t. This supplement gives him a daily boost, and I think with regular use, we’ll probably end up going to the vet less often. So I believe it’s a good product, even if it’s still a bit early to say for sure how much it improves his joint comfort. *Review based on 3 weeks of use of one bottle.*

Our Deda weighs just under 29 kg, so the pack only lasts about 10–12 days. The kibble pieces are a good size and Deda devoured them greedily as an extra treat. Unfortunately, shortly after eating them, he started having problems with flatulence and the farting hardly stopped, plus he had loose stools. We then reduced the dose, but unfortunately that didn’t make much of a difference. Clearly, he just couldn’t tolerate it!

I give her 5 a day and if I forget, she asks for them :) I don't know if they're actually good for her, but at least they're not doing her any harm. We’ve been using the treats almost daily for several weeks now as a reward during obedience training while out on walks. Our dog absolutely loves them, and we’ve always been able to finish the exercises with a little highlight thanks to these premium treats. But that brings me to the big downside of these treats – nearly £20 including shipping for just 60 small treats :(

Joint & Ageing Chews (Adult) tick all the right boxes! I’ve noticed my dog is more comfortable with her joints. After two surgeries, she sometimes gets stiffness, but with this product, it’s much less frequent. My dog loves the taste, and the instructions for use and daily dosage are clear. My dog is very picky when it comes to treats that are supposed to be healthy, but she accepted these straight away and really liked them. The smell is also very pleasant for both humans and dogs. I didn’t notice any changes in my dog during use. However, I do find the price a bit too expensive.

Our Sam (a 4-year-old Yorkie-Shih Tzu-Terrier mix) gets the Joints & Ageing Chews as a supplement to his daily dry food. He took to this new variety straight away and really likes it. With a bit of “baiting”, you can even coax him into learning a few new tricks now. Because of his size and weight, he gets 1 chew each morning and evening when given regularly.
