This review reflects my honest opinion, based on 3 weeks of using a free product sample. My dog really liked the taste and was always happy when he got some. I also find the packaging design very appealing. However, I’m not a big fan of how the supplements look. I can’t really say if anything has actually changed with my dog in such a short time.

The size, shape and smell are attractive, and even with her slight dental misalignment, she was able to chew the treats easily. Overall, she tolerated the product well, and I didn’t notice any negative effects. All in all, it’s a treat she likes.

I didn’t notice any major changes, as the bag was finished quite quickly with two large dogs. However, my German Shepherd did seem to move a bit more “smoothly” than usual.

However, I needed scissors to open it, which isn’t really how it’s meant to be. The food is pressed into small, appealing pieces. Our dog accepted them straight away. Unfortunately, the sample pack was quite small, just 240g, and was used up in 3 days. Whether the food actually has any effects is hard to say.

Since she weighs less than 1.5kg, she was allowed to eat ½ per day. I didn’t notice any major changes. I’m giving it to her more as a precaution and will continue to do so, as small breeds often have (knee) joint problems or can develop them. I think it doesn’t do any harm.

My dog enjoyed these bites and finds them very tasty. They're easy and quick to give. Much easier to give than a supplement on its own.

Since I started giving him Royal Canin Joint & Ageing Adult, I’ve already noticed a slight improvement and I’m really pleased, so I’ll be placing another order to give him a proper course. Plus, my dog loves them—these bites are really tasty for him!
