animonda Carny Adult Mixed Trial Pack 6 x 800g

Our cats liked it at first but quickly got tired of it and now refuse to eat it. The composition looks good on the label but the food is full of little bits of mixed bone and lumps of fat. It also gets stale and unappetizing very quickly and when left untouched for a while it just goes straight to the bin.

I tried this instead of gourmet perle wet packs for 5 cats and this was a flop. I now have the best fed hedgehogs passing through my garden. One cat ate some of it and the birds like it but without a gravy this is not working for mine at all. Back to the search for wet pack alternatives that they will eat with their dry RC nuts.

I saw so many good reviews about Animonda Carny that I decided to buy. for my two cats Unfortunately none of them liked it. The older one doesnt come near the food and the younger one tried a little bit, and decided to leave it aside. Its a pity they dont sell the small tin to test first. I would have bought one for trial instead of having other 5 cans closed here (probably I will donate them for a cat shelter).

This food is amazing! The tin size is perfect when feeding 5 cats and they all absolutely love it. Two of them even growl when eating it. Packed solid in the tin, there is so much food for your money and it smells really nice, unlike some supermarket brands. So much healthier for my cats too and their coats are so shiny since eating this food. I'm so glad I found it.

A premium food at a VERY GOOD PRICE- that my fussy cat STILL enjoys, even after several months! Long may it last!

I bought mixed pack 1, all cats ate it. Then I bought mixed pack 2, 4/8 would not eat it. They have never turned down any wet food before. I don't know if its a bad batch or just the different flavors in mixed pack 2 are not nice. The code on bottom on mixed pack 2 tins implies from another factory.

After this food my cat health has been improved :) She been very poor with supermarket food. I decided to try this food because of 65% of the meat.

Amazing food which is totally species appropriate, mine loved all flavours except for the mixed meat but its great you can order so many different flavour choices so I just won't order that one. It's definitely comparable to grau and catz finefoods which are the other 2 brands I use but this is much cheaper. I buy 55 x 800g tins a month for 15 cats and its a great price.

Have bought this a couple of times now and the cats seem to enjoy it most of the time. My big worry is the beef content, there is far too much in every variety. Not knowing the source of the beef is worrying, when I think back to times of mad cow disease, I always worry about beef in pet foods.

Having a multi cat household means feeding can be pricey and a can lasts no time at all. These 800g cans are perfect, will be looking for more like this. These are decent quality and are grain free.

High meat content and no weird cereal chunks like most cast food cans. My overweight cat lost weight on this food and has loads of energy now, he really has to chew it instead of lapping like other wet foods. It looks like corned beef in consistency. It keeps well in the fridge and doesn't stink. Definitely ordering more soon!

I use this as a supplement to my ferrets diet. Its great quality ingredients and they enjoy the Beef varieties of the Adult tins the best. Great food for cat and as part of a varied & balanced diet for ferrets.

Occasionally dented cans. Nice look to product. A bit short on jelly, good meat content. My two Burmese eat about 1 large can a day. Recently, they have exhibited signed of over-grooming and itchy skin on legs and belly. I swapped to Whiskers pouches (chicken and fish from local supermarket) and they eat loads more but their skin irritation and over-grooming has ceased and fur is returning in those areas. I will cycle brands more.

My two rescue cats are surprisingly fussy eaters so I have been looking for a new cat food that they will enjoy. I recently ordered this cat food for the first time. I was impressed by how good the food smelled when I opened the tin. It looks and smells like corned beef. My cats wolfed this down the first time I gave it to them and continue to enjoy this cat food and the Carny Senior tins that I also bought. I am delighted as (apparently) are my cats!

High meat content and doesn't smell too bad. My cats love it. They have been eating animonda carny since kitten. Great value esp with the 800g tin, Would be nice if there are more flavour choices.

none has been wasted, it all gets eaten up and they are doing very well on it. Good value for a good quality food.

I'm a week in to transitioning my 2 female Siberian cats from kitten to cat food. After doing some research on wet cat food 'meat content versus price' I came across Animonda Carny. This has much more goodness in and around 50% meat but kg for kg works out the same price as leading brands available in the supermarket that have less than 10% meat. So far a week in, neither of my girls are that keen and one turns to the dry food I put out over this. It could well be because they are used to pouches that are a lot wetter so I'm going to have one last attempt and try the Animonda Carny - meat saucer which I'm hoping is a gravy variety as opposed to a more solid meat like all the other flavours. I agree with a previous reviewer that there seem to be lumps of fat in the tins but cats need some fat in their food so it doesn't worry me too much. I would recommend this if your cats are used to the solid tinned foods but not so much if they aren't. As my cats have a top quality dry food and are on L-lysine, probiotics and dental supplements I will go back to a high street brand if I have to as all other quality wet cat foods I have found cost considerably more.
