Not stainless steel
I was happy to find some stainless steel bols, but infortunately, they are not stainless. There are always water stains after cleaning. I tried to wash it in the dishwasher too, with the same results. I'm very disappointed with these bols.

It has some realy obvious problems!
The entrance is pretty big and the second cat can easily fit in there and eat at the same time, as you see in pic A! The lid will try to close but with two heads pushing it, it can't.
From the back there is so much space that any cat can easily have access, as you see in pic B and this is a so obvious design flow that it is frustrating!
I solved those problems with some white carton and hard plastic sheet as you see in pic C. It works but it ain't pretty no more!

2x SureFeed Ersatznäpfe, 400 ml, Edelstahl
Rubber seal broken
We bought the bowls in December, and now the rubber seals are broken—and I even cut myself while washing them. This is definitely not what we expected.

No chance
My three cats have been refusing to eat from the feeders for days now. The lids are still open so they can get used to them first... No idea why they're acting like this?! Really hope this changes soon.

distributeur hermétique de 400 mL
Very practical but not durable
After 2 or 3 years, the motor no longer has enough power to open the lid. As for the battery, the consumption is reasonable.

No instructions for use!?
We've been looking for days now because the hatch's post-installation programming isn't working when our cat wants to come in 🤢

Stainless steel?
I don't think it's stainless steel. More like aluminium.

distributeur de 400 mL
Box crushed inside the parcel
I have nothing to say about the item itself, it matches my expectations. I ordered several things, including some litter. The outside of the parcel was perfect, but inside, the packaging box for the item was squashed. They should look at securing things better inside the parcels to stop items from moving around. The delivery driver isn’t to blame.

Futterautomat 400 ml
All three have stopped working
At first, I thought the feeders were great because I have a food thief. First issue: one of the cats had the "Suprachip" and could access all the feeders. That was solvable. Then I noticed that slobber would get into the threads and I couldn’t clean it out. After that, I didn’t use them for a while—they sat in a box for about half a year, and when I wanted to use them again, they were all dead. Even new batteries didn’t help. When they do turn on, the flap doesn’t work.

Voerautomaat 400 ml - SureFeed Microchip Voerautomaat
Smart cats
The feeder with chip recognition is a clever idea and works as it should (it doesn’t let the other cat in). Pairing it with the chip was very quick and easy.
However, my cats are little rascals and simply take the bowl out of the feeder, so they can both nibble from each other’s bowl anyway.
It’s a shame, because one cat really needs special diet food and I didn’t want to put the other cat on it unnecessarily. That’s why I bought these feeders, but unfortunately...

Other cat can still steal
Maybe I just have a very clever cat, but he was still able to steal food. I’ve now fixed it to the floor with self-adhesive Velcro, but if he pushes my other cat away, he quickly grabs a big mouthful and goes off to eat it somewhere else at his leisure.
The result is that my other cat actually doesn’t dare to eat on her own… but she eats little bits throughout the day, while the other one eats everything in one go, so I can’t just leave her food out either.

Where’s the insulation?
I’ve just installed the cat flap.
I already had the Hub because I bought the “smart bowl”, which I have to say I was really happy with.
However, this system was installed in a newly built house with an A+++ energy rating, and it was very disappointing to discover that there’s no insulation at all. I installed several extension pieces, since my wall is 30cm thick plus the insulation layer.
Air gets into the tunnel and comes through the flap.
Terrible.

Sureflap braun
Mechanism too loud
My cats have had a cat flap for 13 years and always used it without any problems, but it never had an outside lock! Now I had to activate it because of strange cats coming in, and my cats won’t go through anymore because the mechanism scares them! As soon as they put their heads in the tunnel, it makes a really loud click and they back away and run off! Now they don’t want to use it even without the lock! I’ve tried every suggestion out there for weeks! Nothing works! HELP!

Works fine but poor insulation
Easy to programme.
But I’m very disappointed with the insulation.
The brush seals are too small and let a lot of air through the cat flap door.
