AI-generated summary based on reviews added by customers
This cat litter has its fans, with some praising its clumping ability and odor control. However, many users found it tracks all over the house, sticking to paws and requiring constant cleaning. Some cats even refused to use it, and others noted a change in formula making it messy and hard to clean. Despite this, a few still appreciate its eco-friendly nature and long-lasting qualities.

Best cat litter
This cat litter is brilliant and lasts for ages. Clumps into a ball when cats wee and flushes down the loo. I have 4 indoor cats and it doesn't smell. Best litter I've ever used would defiantly recommend it

Doesn't clump very well
Get rid of the smell really good and I prefer plant based cat litter.
However it tracks a lot and doesn't clump properly which become really messy when I try to scoop out my cat urine.
It is really wired that the clumping power is more powerful for the 10l bag and the 40l bag is not that good.

Bought for years, very good!
Bought the 40 litre version for our 2 kittens as we live 3 floors up and carrying bags of litter up those stairs every week is a no no! The 40 litre lasts us about 3 months, changing it weekly. Never smells unless I'm a little late with changing it. The cats love it and have never had an issue with it, which is why weve bought it again and again for the past year and a half. Will carrying on purchasing! Love it. Would recommend to everyone. ALSO you can flush it down the toilet which is handy!

Cat's Best is 'The Best'
We have been using this litter for a long time now, and it's the best we've used. The bit of trailing is acceptable (there's always a dustpan & brush!) but the bonus is being able to flush it! We had one dodgy sack, that didn't clump properly, but I wrote to the manufacturers, who very kindly replaced it. This is also the best place to buy it for value!

Wouldn't be without this!
So glad i tried this amazing litter! We are a 2 cat household (one of which is elderley and needs to pee quite a lot) and were previously using Catsan (vile stuff) which we were having to clean out constantly because od the smell and mess! With this litter the pee clumps up after a few minutes making it easy to just scoop out and dispose of. We now have no smell at all coming from the litter tray and i even have to look through the flap every so often to check if theres a sneaky number 2 in there as i can't smell when they've had one!!! Yes it does track a bit but if you have laminate floor it's easy to just sweep or vac up. Also lasts so much longer than catsan or any other brand ive tried, we buy the 20litre bags and lasts us about 3 months so more than worth the money! Couldn't recommend this product more! Will not buy anything else! Zooplus super quick with delivery too!

FANTASTIC LONGEVITY BUT AWFUL TRACKING
A friend recommended this litter as I have 7 cats. I have been really impressed by how much longer this litter lasts when compared to all others I have used. However there is a huge downside - it gets tracked by the cats EVERYWHERE! I have capture mats by each litter tray but it doesn't stop them tracking the litter all over the house. Sadly I will be going back to my old style litter (crystals) which don't last half as long as Oko, but stays were it should be.

Excellent product!! Really recommend!
Can't fault this cat litter at all! Easy to clean, clumps really well making "nugget hunting" easy. Just scoop out everyday and tip up and do a main clean every few weeks :) Our cat loves it and I am not joking when I say he won't use anything else.

Odor control and clumping are ok, but it tracks all over the place. I'm tired of cleaning it up every day,so no more Oko

Does the job but tracks
This is the first cat litter I tried when my boy was just a kitten. It held odours really well and clumped well so I was quite happy with it. However, like many other people have said, the granules track so easily. I am still finding little bits and pieces in strange places 8 months later.

Disaster
My three indoor cats got a very bad reaction from using this cat litter within 3 days of use. They got running eyes and sneezing. I took one of them to the vet as he was very bad. Following treatment he recovered completely. I removed all the cat litter and my cats recovered.

Just brilliant
Have been using this litter for over 12 months now and would not use anything else. IT'S ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, does tend to tread a bit around the house on cats paws, but no bother to clear up. So easy to clean the trays after use and dispose of, especially in bad weather, no trips to the dustbin. My cat loves it too !!!

Very pleased
After 18 months of dealing with my 12 yr old rescue either weeing on the floor purposefully or missing her tray, I decided to change her brand of litter in case that was the reason. It turns out it was.
I've gone from using Fresh News/Yesterday's News to Greenwoods/Cat's Best, and in the 6 weeks since she's only had one near miss, compared to several per week.
I haven't noticed any difference at all between Greenwoods and Cat's Best. Both track, but I'd rather that than cleaning up wee.

It's changed.
I have to agree with Jennie, it seems different and doesn't clump as well as it used to. I think I'll change to Cats Best nature gold as I've bought it in the past.

Worth every penny
My cat seems very happy with this litter, and the depth you use seems to work for him as he's very into enthusiastic burying. For my part, I find the litter tray never, ever smells and it's just so easy to get rid of clumps and solid waste. It does get tracked about a bit but a mat outside the tray and regular vacuuming keep it under control.

Good stuff, not perfect
On the plus side, it's not too dusty and the cats seem to like it. They have no problem digging in it and covering with it, so of course we'll keep using it. The only negative really is that it tracks SO BADLY outside the litter tray. Seriously. I have to use the mini-vac every day. Two cats + 3 litter trays = litter anywhere within a 20 foot radius. So as long as you don't mind hoovering / don't care about having litter on the floor, it's good.

Good but messy
It is a very good litter. I like that it doesn't smell at all and is natural. My cats like it a lot, but cleaning is a nightmare. First of all the litter sticks into a litterbox and it is really difficult to clean up. And second: it's usually all over the floor after my cats visit the toilet. It always sticks to my long haired cat's fur which is annoying. I changed it to Super Benek, which isn't as messy.
A large bag lasts ages compared to other litter!

Traces a lot :(
I've used this litter for years since it's flushable, but it traces a lot :( And since it's very light my cats play with it non-stop building Egyptian pyramids in their litter boxes, mixing up clean litter with dirty parts. And the clumps don't stay well intact in many cases.
Hope it's ok to write this here, but I just recently switched to Super Benek - and am fully in love with it. So sorry, Oko Plus, have to stop buying this litter.

Really is the Best!
My elderly cat prefers this litter to the pellets she was on before - the flakes are much softer, and they clump well, making for easy cleaning. I've found the litter to last longer than the previous brand I was using (Applaws) and no smell issues.

Cat's Best Original cat litter
Very absorbent litter, no bad smells, and my cats like the texture.
Same opinion for Cat's Best Original and Greenwoods plant fibre since they're basically the same litter.
- Not economical at all! The bin fills up in 1.5 days instead of 3 with Biokat Organic Fibre Wood
- Lots of dust/powder after... 2 days! (Not recommended for asthmatic cats)
- Stays "dirty". The broken pellets are so big it's impossible to remove everything that's soiled...
- Not much litter outside the tray, that's true, but it's replaced by dust... which is even worse.
We had been using it for years, but recently the quality has dropped and we had to look for something else. It spreads a lot, doesn't clump well, and starts to smell bad quickly. Unfortunately.
After more than 10 years of loyal loyalty: Thanks for the good times, but that's it.
For over ten years, Cat’s Best Original and I were a well-oiled team. For years, I would have sworn by this litter – but what’s been coming out of the bags lately sadly has little in common with the original from back in the day.
Instead of the usual top performance, the clumps now fall apart just by looking at them. The absorbency...
After years of using Benek Corn, I thought I'd give this another try. Well, I sure found out. We were away on holiday for a week. My regular cat sitter immediately told me that the clumps with urine fall apart straight away and are really hard to scoop.
On top of that, I'm really glad I had robot vacuum cleaners running daily both upstairs and downstairs. Both are completely full of granules. Even in the attic, the stuff is everywhere. And our litter boxes are downstairs... Awful stuff. Back to Benek!
I've tried 5 different types of natural "bedding" for my bunny's whole cage, since he doesn't care what he uses for his toilet. This one suits us best 🙂
I don’t know what happened to this cat litter. I’ve been ordering it for 8 years, but the last few orders just aren’t the same as before. It doesn’t clump as well as it used to, the clumps fall apart. I thought maybe it was just one bad batch, but unfortunately it’s happened several times now and it’s still the same problem. I think I’ll go back to Corn Car. That one clumps much better, even though it’s dustier.
Overall, it's a decent cat litter, but I wanted one that doesn't create dust, and this one is advertised as being almost dust-free. I actually find it quite dusty and not so good for cats.
We've been using Cat's Best as litter for our cats and kittens for 14 years now. We're also using it in our automatic litter boxes these days, and it all works brilliantly. The litter is perfectly safe for the kittens too, since it's completely natural. It clumps well and is easy to dispose of. Some packs are a bit finer and can be a bit dusty, but that's only the odd bag. We're happy with it overall.
Very economical, doesn't trap odours and cats don't like it on their paws
Much more economical than bentonite litter. With diarrhoea, it could have been hidden under less than 20 litres and it still would have stunk. Generally an unpleasant smell, and if you have to change all the litter so often, it's not really economical or cheaper than others. Biggest negative: the cats don't like it at all. Even my expert digger tends to run away. With my long-haired cat, the litter always got stuck in her fur, very uncomfortable. I could flush the poo down the toilet, which was practical. The litter spreads around the flat...
I've been using this for years. Yes, it does scatter, but that's the case with any other litter too. Still, it seems like something has changed in the formula lately. It doesn't clump nearly as well, so the whole tray gets 'contaminated', turns dark, and starts to smell quickly. I scoop several times a day, and I used to have to completely change the tray much less often. I could just keep topping it up because it clumped so nicely. It's a real shame because I haven't found an alternative yet!
