This is by far my favorite litter I've ever used. We have two cats and two boxes; I scoop the litter every 1-2 days and flush down the toilet. The clumps are slightly delicate, but they work. The big difference is, I only change the whole boxes about once a month--and there is no smell! (I have had catless friends come to my house and comment on the fact that "people who have cats usually have smelly houses, and you don't".) Scoop carefuly, top up a little if needed, and this is a long-lasting, clean-smelling cat litter solution.

This litter is the best I've ever used and I've used quite a few!! It clumps well as long as your cat is healthy!! I.e. One of mine had bladder crystals so it wasn't so good then due to the small quantities of urine. He is fixed now and this litter is brilliant as I can tell imediately if he is having any difficulty. The only negative is that they do tend to throw it out of the litter box but that is a small price to pay for an otherwise excellent product. Highly recommend it.

I think this litter is fantastic and wouldn't use anything else, there's no smell from the tray and although it tracks a little bit I don't find it a problem, maybe as I have wooden floors so it can be swept up easily. It lasts for ages too. But please be careful of the claims that you can flush it!! I used to flush the clumps down the loo but recently had a nasty blockage and had to pay a big bill to get it cleared. The man informed me it was most likely due to the litter and not to do this again! took about 3 years for this to happen but still it was a hassle and expense I could have done without.

Having tried all kinds of other litters, I purchased this just before Christmas, as I couldn't get hold of my usual brand. It seemed very expensive, but I thought I'd give it a try. My 2 Bengals are fine with it, BUT the amount of tracking is awful :( And yes, even using a tracker mat (unless anyone knows of one that works with this litter?) Reading the other reviews, I see this is a common remark, so come on Cat's Best, I'd buy it again even with the cost (it DOES last for ages, and there is no odour problem, and mine are indoor cats)if you could just do something about the tracking! Thanks :)

This is the best cat litter I have tried so far. It is easily flushed down the toilet and does not smell like some other makes do.

To repeat other reviews, it tracks easily out of the box. But my personal least favourite aspect of it was the smell - not of my cat's waste but of the product itself - kind of sour, burnt, weird coffee - yuk! I much prefer the freshness of wood pellets and as I compost all the litter (except faeces and faeces contaminated litter of course), I think wood chip/sawdust are much better as a biodegradable, nice smelling product that composts well

This IS the best Cat Litter I've ever bought. Soaks up urine etc. into Neat solid clumps , very easy to remove with scoop.No more Smelly Trays. I have 3 cats. Bought the Large bag, filled tray with approx 3" Litter 2 weeks ago, haven't had to top up yet. Worth every penny. This is the BEST. Would give more Stars if it were possible !

was recommended this litter by a friend who has 10 cats (i only have 2) it is really great, lasts forever and the clumping of the pee is brilliant. One tip I was also given is to make sure you fill the trays quite full (using a deep tray) I was cautious at first but you dont waste any so the whole tray lasts for ages, the deeper the litter the better the pee clumps into little jelly balls. Sooo easy to deal with you just flush down the loo (or drain as i have trays outside as well).. highly recommended. I have long haired cats so the litter does track a little but no more than the wooden pellets that I was previously using. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.

We use this for a chinchilla and it works extremely well. Almost dust-free and smells nice.

I have tried every cat litter on the market - this is amazing, there is no odour problem and I have a keen sense of smell.It clumps well and does not stick to the tray. I have 8 cats. This litter is brilliant. Good news that it can go in the compost bin too.

Great product! Pleasant light natural wood chip scent, disguises unpleasant odours well. Easy to clean litter tray. Each morning I remove solid waste from litter and flush down the toilet. I filter the remaining litter through a litter lifter original scoop (excellent product) into another empty plastic litter tray. The wet litter will have formed a clump at the bottom of the first tray and this I scoop into the compost bin, then I rinse and allow the tray to dry, ready for use the following day. Previously I used clumping clay litter, which wasn't so good at masking odours and could only be disposed of in the refuse bin thereby incurring further cost.

Great litter. My cat loves it and so do I! It is low dust, low odour and biodegradable. Tracks a bit but not terribly. Clumps like a dream (make sure you get a scoop whose holes are neither too big nor too small!) and very economical because it does not have to be changed often and no clean litter is wasted.

We would highly recommend this. It lasts such a long time and completely hides any smells very well too. We bought a 40litre bag 7 weeks ago for our 2 kittens and haven't even used half of it yet. Brilliant product and zooplus have the most competitive price for it

Simply the best cat litter ever, deodorises and is very economical. my cats definatly prefer it and I also like that its bio degradable so good for the planet.

Really good product. Environmentally friendly because it is made of wood chips, because it is light and absorbs many times its mass, because it doesn't come from Canada unlike most clays and because it is flushable (think dispersible aspirin tablet, it just breaks down into dust when in water!). Also, it does track but no more than others and much less than very fine clay litters, being light coloured poo is immediately visible and, it blocks the smells rather well with no chemicals! Lastly, it is economical as it lasts for really really long so even though the purchase price is higher, we have calculated that it is no more expensive than the cheap brands to use. Awesome product.

This cat litter is excellent. Controls smells, clumps beautifully, flushes easily. If you use a good mat next to the tray you'll also get very little tracking. Put a tray filled with this next to your human toilet for convenient disposal, get a nice big scoop like the Litter Lifter one, and then cleaning the tray takes you about 10 seconds. Top quality product and can't recommend highly enough.

I like this product because not only can I flush the clumps down the toilet, I can then empty the tray into the composter. It seems to trap odours well too. There is a tracking problem but its no worse than the most expensive cat litter available and you don't need to use as much as some of the cheaper brands.

I've been using Cat's best Oko plus litter for almost a year now. I buy the 40L bags and they last about 3 months with my two cats. Pros: -economical, especially in comparison to the most similar product available at the supermarket -excellent clumping -easy to clean - it's flushable, or at least it is in my house. I don't have a garden so composting isn't an option. -light weight compared to the clay kind, which is great when I am doing a full clean of my 2 litter boxes as I wouldn't flush that much at once -long lasting - I only have to fully clean/wash out the litter boxes once a month, it clumps that well -pretty good at disguising the poop smell. The urine smell is non-existant. I scoop the boxes 1-2x a day, and I have one large covered box and one small open one for 2 cats. Cons -does track, especially if the kitties get any of the wet litter on their feet whilst using the box. However, doesn't track any worse than the clay, and it is easily vaccuumed up. I use the litter-catching mats to help with this. -my cats adapted to it pretty quickly -bits do stick easily to bathroom rugs. I have taken to lifting these off the floor between showers. The variety of a similar, vegetable based litter I bougth at the supermarket did have a slightly better scent which concealed every trace of poop smell, but the price compared to the Oko plus just isn't worth it. If the kitties go number 2 whilst I'm home, I know it pretty quickly and I just go and scoop right away. If I'm out at work and it's had a few hours to settle, I only know there is poop there when I scoop. If you're switching litters, it always pays to mix the old with the new whilst kitties adapt.

Very good product Im very happy with it and have just bought another bag. The house does not smell and cat's paws love it, digging and digging :)

I’m really disappointed with this product. This litter sticks to my cat’s paws and I end up with bits all over the house, and unfortunately, some of those bits have clumped faeces too! The litter is too fine, so it’s very messy. If you’re looking for a clean and easy-to-clean litter, don’t go for this one. I bought it because it’s supposed to be flushable, but the clumps are so compact that I doubt it actually works.

It's a shame how the quality has gone downhill. After just a week, there's already loads of dust in the litter box. My cat, who's black, comes out brown, and I have to sift the litter as a quick fix so it affects him as little as possible. It clumps much worse than before and you end up with little bits scattered everywhere. I guess if you have a good scoop, that doesn't matter as much. I'm looking for alternatives now. Like I said, it's a real shame.

We are extremely happy with this litter. It absorbs odours well, clumps sufficiently, and above all, it doesn’t create much dust. One of our two tomcats is very sensitive to dust. Yes, when cleaning later on, you have to be careful not to shake the pee clumps too much so they don’t fall apart. For us, that’s absolutely manageable. We’ve tried a lot of different litters and this one is a minor issue for us.

I completely agree with all the other negative reviews. The formula has been totally changed. Before, the pellets were very fine and soft; now, they're just fragmented wood pellets, which makes them extremely sharp and hard. My poor cat, who usually accepts any kind of litter, was really unsettled and initially refused to use it. Plus, since the pellets are so big, they don't go through the scoop very well. I'm going to ask for a refund.

Unfortunately, in my experience, it does get dusty, but I've definitely had much worse litter before. If you make the layer thick enough, it clumps well and I can scoop out small urine balls. The little ones do spread quite a lot of it around after leaving the litter box, but maybe that'll get better as the cats get bigger.

It absorbs pee really well and forms a nice clump. It also does a great job with odours. Excellent product.

I love this litter, and so do my pets. There's hardly any dust, but I've noticed that when I buy the same amount split into two bags, it's sandier and creates more dust.

After reading the reviews, I went with another brand, but I came back and it turned out the reviews were lying. It clumps nicely, the cats like it, there are no problems with it, it doesn’t create dust, and it doesn’t hurt their paws.

I've been using this litter for 4 years, and it was the best quality-wise. I never even tried to compare the price because it suited my needs perfectly. But the last two bags just aren't the same, it doesn't clump anymore, the litter just spreads everywhere. I'll give it another month, but unfortunately I'll have to give it up. I have 5 cats -> 3 litter boxes, and cleaning has become more tiring and less efficient.

Hello, I've been using this cat litter for over 14 years. Since my last order, I'm really disappointed. The clumps are soaked all the way to the bottom. The clumps are way bigger than I've ever seen before. Obviously, a lot more litter is needed now. Has the product been changed or is it a production error with this batch?

I've been using it for a long time, but lately it's gotten worse and worse. It creates a lot of dust, and the litter itself falls apart. I won't buy it again. Very disappointed, the same thing happens with the food—it crumbles. I'm thinking about buying elsewhere. The quality leaves a lot to be desired.

What a terrible cat litter! It's incredibly dusty! My cat comes out of the litter box short of breath and coughing. The whole house is covered in a white haze. Whenever I scoop the box, a cloud of dust hangs in the air. I've tried many types of litter, but this one is by far the worst.

The granules have changed to being large and sharp, so my cats no longer like using the litter tray filled with this litter. Even when a person steps on it, you feel a lot of discomfort, let alone a cat’s paws. It's a shame, because it used to be great.

I've been using this litter for almost 10 years, but the last 3 batches have been a disaster. It smells terrible. I even contacted Cats Best to ask why, but they just said they hadn't changed anything. It's a shame they don't take this seriously.

I've been using this cat litter since 2020, basically since I got my cats. It was recommended to me and I was absolutely thrilled with it. But for several weeks/months now, I've noticed that it doesn't clump well at all, and the worst part for me is that it starts to smell unpleasant really quickly!! I never had this problem with the litter before. Such a shame, because it's really hard to find a new good litter.

It's really practical for cleaning, since you can put the clumped pee straight into the toilet. After a few minutes, the pee dries and forms a ball, making it easy to remove. My two cats use it without any issues.
