AI-generated summary based on reviews added by customers
This cat litter has its fans, with some praising its clumping ability and odor control. However, many users found it tracks all over the house, sticking to paws and requiring constant cleaning. Some cats even refused to use it, and others noted a change in formula making it messy and hard to clean. Despite this, a few still appreciate its eco-friendly nature and long-lasting qualities.

Great all rounder
Been using this litter for years now and always go back to it! Covers smells and clumps well. Tracks a little bit, but worth it for the price!

Excellent cat litter
Very good clumping cat litter. I keep trying others but nothing is as good as this and I keep coming back to this one! It's easy to clean as the litter clumps together. Recommended ++++

Used and Approved for 10 years
I have four Burmese cats and have long since used Cat's Best Oku Plus to their and my satisfaction. I have occasionally strayed but ALWAYS return after only one tray full , regretting my decision. It last much longer, masks odour very well, doesn't stick to tray or paws and with a good mat tracking is acceptable. I would not flush but use an outdoor cat bin and the lightweight litter is a bonus for fortnightly collections. Happy cats, happy customer.

Absolutely love it!!!
This is by far the best litter I have ever used for my cats!! Not only does it smell lovely but it traps the wee into a perfect clump and masks the smell of the poop. It also lasts a very long time!! I clean out the trays twice a day but only need to do a complete change once a week! The only downside is, is that it does get everywhere but that's a small price to pay for outstanding performance!

Not flushable, but great otherwise
Says it is compostable and flushable. My experience is that you should not flush it down the toilet as it will block your drains. It did this after just 4 days and my drains had been ok for 15 years ! Otherwise it is fantastic, is saving me a fortune in litter costs as I have 5 house cats and had been using Tigerino Silicate litter and getting through 12 x 5 litre sacks a week as I have two litter trays. We still have no odour issues and this travels less and we use far less ... saving £££

"Blinded by the dust"
This cat litter would be great were it not for the dust when scooping out, and when cat cover up what it's done. The dust gets into cats eyes and nose, the eyes water and go goey , and his nose runs. It is not supposed to be a dusty cat litter.I cough, each time I scoop out, and fill up box.

Best cat litter
Fantastic cat litter - no odour and you don't have to fully empty for ages. It does track so you will need a good mat.

Its the best!
I tried the crystal litter but it was useless because it would not clump and was so hard to put through the scoop. then I moved on to Tigerino and what an improvement! I thought I had finally found the nest vat litter. Tigerino is good - dont get me wrong, but I tried a sample pack of Cats best - and it really is the best! it lasts longer than Tigerino and I dont know why! anyway Ive still got the Tigerino so I use a 50/50 mix....perhaps thats the secret? my Cat litter is lasting like forever!

Brilliant cat litter
I got 2 cats in March, and was recommended this litter. For the first few weeks I was using shop bought litter and was changing it completely every few days. I bit the bullet and ordered this. It was on offer and got 40l bag with a 20l bag free. This order was placed around April time. The 60l had lasted me until now! It's so cost effective as you use very little. It clumps well, is flushed down her loo, no mess! It does track but for me that's a small price to pay for litter that is so good. It doesn't mask the smell of one of my cats poops but once they've been scooped it's gone. Otherwise it masks the smell brilliantly. I'm always checking with friends that the house doesn't smell of cats when they come in! I'm now ordering more which I expect will last me unruly summer 2017!

It is the best
This cat litter is very economical in use (much more so than ones selling at a cheaper initial price), so it is very, very good value. The fact it can safely be flushed down the loo/composted is also a major plus point. Yes, it tracks, that is its only down side, but any tracked litter is easily vacuumed or brushed up. It is also excellent at odour control.

It is the best
We have been using this for about a year. It works very well, does not smell, is easy to pick up and economical. We use it in conjunction with Petmate Top Entry Cat Litter Box and LitterLocker II Cat Litter Bin. No more cat smells (most of the time).

it has pros and cons
pros: don't smell
easy to clean
can be disposed in the wc
cons: at least for long haired cats they scatter too much, it scatters all around the house

The best cat litter I have ever used
This is the only litter that actually clumps and holds the content and the smell inside. So easy to pick up and throw away.

Very good litter - tracking problem can be reduced with matting
Very good litter, holds smells in, flushes, clumps well.
As to tracking, I have put down an anti-track plastic mat and this catches the majority of the litter which comes out of the tray with the cat. It is then easy to hoover up with a small handheld hoover (for example).

Zaps kitty odours effectively
Brilliant litter. Odour control is very good. I used to use Catsan but it would only control smells for 1 week (I have 2 cats), deciced to give this a try and was not disappointed.

Well done Zooplus
Totally impressed that zoo plus printed my review as
it was not complementary to the product.

best cat litter ever
I have been using this litter for a long time. At the moment I have only 4 very elderly cats but this litter is kind to little kitten paws and elderly 20 and 21 year old ones. The only problem it does track.

Cat's best... Should be World's Best!
This litter really is the best that there is... Trust me, I've tried everything! Yes, it tracks... It's hard to find a totally non tracking litter. It may be more of a problem with long haired cats but for my short - haired, it doesn't track too much. It clumps really well too and hides nasty smells.
Having recently bought World's Best, I was bitterly disappointed. In fact, so was one of my cats who just refused to use it. So money down the drain, back to Cat's Best!

Soul cats
Over the last year I have used various cat litters and I have found this one to be the best by far. I like the clumping and this means that you are using less litter. I will continue to purchase this from now on. I agree with previous reviews about the tracking but I have since purchased a new open top cat tray which has been much better and solved a lot of the tracking problems.

simply the best
I have tried other brands and recently thought i would try a small bag of Benka a similar bio degradable litter. Didnt like it, this one is by far the BEST.

Cat's Best Original cat litter
Very absorbent litter, no bad smells, and my cats like the texture.
Same opinion for Cat's Best Original and Greenwoods plant fibre since they're basically the same litter.
- Not economical at all! The bin fills up in 1.5 days instead of 3 with Biokat Organic Fibre Wood
- Lots of dust/powder after... 2 days! (Not recommended for asthmatic cats)
- Stays "dirty". The broken pellets are so big it's impossible to remove everything that's soiled...
- Not much litter outside the tray, that's true, but it's replaced by dust... which is even worse.
We had been using it for years, but recently the quality has dropped and we had to look for something else. It spreads a lot, doesn't clump well, and starts to smell bad quickly. Unfortunately.
After more than 10 years of loyal loyalty: Thanks for the good times, but that's it.
For over ten years, Cat’s Best Original and I were a well-oiled team. For years, I would have sworn by this litter – but what’s been coming out of the bags lately sadly has little in common with the original from back in the day.
Instead of the usual top performance, the clumps now fall apart just by looking at them. The absorbency...
After years of using Benek Corn, I thought I'd give this another try. Well, I sure found out. We were away on holiday for a week. My regular cat sitter immediately told me that the clumps with urine fall apart straight away and are really hard to scoop.
On top of that, I'm really glad I had robot vacuum cleaners running daily both upstairs and downstairs. Both are completely full of granules. Even in the attic, the stuff is everywhere. And our litter boxes are downstairs... Awful stuff. Back to Benek!
I've tried 5 different types of natural "bedding" for my bunny's whole cage, since he doesn't care what he uses for his toilet. This one suits us best 🙂
I don’t know what happened to this cat litter. I’ve been ordering it for 8 years, but the last few orders just aren’t the same as before. It doesn’t clump as well as it used to, the clumps fall apart. I thought maybe it was just one bad batch, but unfortunately it’s happened several times now and it’s still the same problem. I think I’ll go back to Corn Car. That one clumps much better, even though it’s dustier.
Overall, it's a decent cat litter, but I wanted one that doesn't create dust, and this one is advertised as being almost dust-free. I actually find it quite dusty and not so good for cats.
We've been using Cat's Best as litter for our cats and kittens for 14 years now. We're also using it in our automatic litter boxes these days, and it all works brilliantly. The litter is perfectly safe for the kittens too, since it's completely natural. It clumps well and is easy to dispose of. Some packs are a bit finer and can be a bit dusty, but that's only the odd bag. We're happy with it overall.
Very economical, doesn't trap odours and cats don't like it on their paws
Much more economical than bentonite litter. With diarrhoea, it could have been hidden under less than 20 litres and it still would have stunk. Generally an unpleasant smell, and if you have to change all the litter so often, it's not really economical or cheaper than others. Biggest negative: the cats don't like it at all. Even my expert digger tends to run away. With my long-haired cat, the litter always got stuck in her fur, very uncomfortable. I could flush the poo down the toilet, which was practical. The litter spreads around the flat...
I've been using this for years. Yes, it does scatter, but that's the case with any other litter too. Still, it seems like something has changed in the formula lately. It doesn't clump nearly as well, so the whole tray gets 'contaminated', turns dark, and starts to smell quickly. I scoop several times a day, and I used to have to completely change the tray much less often. I could just keep topping it up because it clumped so nicely. It's a real shame because I haven't found an alternative yet!
