Worth Every Penny & More!!
My name is CharlieBear, a little grey pussie cat. My mummy found me after I had been abandoned by some nasty people! Who left me near a bin on bin day, long story, but I chose my new mummy and I love her very much. But as I am getting older (just ad my 1st birthday yeh!) Plus my new big sister who is an a’wld o.a.p cat of 13years! Us two girls were starting to get unwanted bully cats coming into our home when mummy was out. It eats our food and bullied us before it left a nasty smell. So my mummy got us this new cat flap ‘Sureflap’ and it was a hundred of those pound’ies, (which is a lot of cat treats!)But I told my mummy I was worth it. So she bought one and got a man round to fit it, didn’t take him very long either, just enough time to have a brew and a bikkie or 2! Now I’m back to been my mischief self and after all I did catch mummy a few presses to say thank you
DON’T SIT ON THE FENCE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

Wish I'd got the larger one!
Great product but really wish I'd bought the larger one. All 3 of my cats struggle to get through the flap. Currently using with free entry and exit to give them a chance to get used to the tight squeeze. If your cat is over 6kg, I recommend you buy the larger one!
Can't fault the delivery service, ordered on the Saturday before a bank holiday and here on the Tuesday. Excellent.

Brilliant Cat Flap!
My two cats were traumatised by unwanted feline visitors coming through their cat flap, but since we fitted a Sure Flap their home is their own again.

A God Send!
I've had this cat flap about 2 weeks now and it's made such a difference to my cats lives and to the smell of my house! No longer can the strays get in and eat my guys food and spray wherever they feel like. Previously had a magnetic collar flap which did nothing to prevent other cats butting their way in but since installing the Sureflap the strays don't even hang about in my garden let alone come in my house. A must buy for anyone in a similar situation.

Amazing product
I had the older version for years, but the motor died, I figured it would be a good time to upgrade, this is the same size and so fits the hole in the glass door perfectly. Helps keep other cats out and makes mine feel safer indoors, has also stopped my male cat spraying indoors too. This version is much better with the draught excluder and also the click isn't as noisy, not that it really bothered me before. This cat flap is well worth the money.

Exceptional
Excellent product. Simple swap into the aperture of the previous catflap. Has prevented unwanted intruder moggies coming in and eating food put out for our cats and then spraying everywhere. Best piece of tech we have purchased in ages.

Excellent Door, Timid Cat
This is a brilliant product that is also an easy DIY project. The door works really well. My cat was a housecat for 2 years and is extremely timid but she took to using it to go outside really well, shame she doesn't like coming back inside as much.

Our scaredy cat
We used to have an ordinary flap at the entrance to a tunnel through house wall, but other cats were coming in.
The Sureflap works perfectly except that our cat was totally spooked by the dropping of the latch and the accompanying clicking noise when he was in the middle of the tunnel coming in (and this is the newer quieter model). He made ungainly exits, rear-end first, back onto the patio!
So we had to go back to the basics to regain his confidence going through the tunnel. First with a bare tunnel, then the flap with no batteries (no click) and propping the flap open, then the flap closed and finally the batteries back. I put strips of black insulating tape at the bottom of the flap so that he couldn't see the latch dropping either. This did the trick, and now, three weeks after the initial installation he is at last coming in - and the neighbour's cat - who was using it all through this period, is thwarted! Great product and a very helpful help-desk at Sureflap.

Worth every penny!!
Having suffered a very frequent, unwanted visitor into my house over a few days, who sprayed all over the place, I was at my wits end, having had to replace, amongst other things, my kettle, which was ruined in a particularly full on spray attack, I was wary about spending so much on a new cat flap. I didn't like the other option of permanently locking my old one as my cats are used to be able to come and go as they please, and I didn't want to have a litter tray in the house. This cat flap was delivered (free) within 2 days of me placing my order. Setting it up was unbelievably easy, both cats were positioned as per the instructions and the cat flap immediately registered and stored their microchips. Apart from being a bit wary for the first few times they used it, my cats have adapted fine and I no longer have a smelly house! I would rate this 10 stars if I could!

SureFlap
After more than 25 years of our different cats using standard cat flaps with no unwelcome visitors (that I was aware of!) we have just started being pestered by a very brazen newcomer. After watching it wander into our hall while relaxing with our 2 Siamese I decided enough was enough. Went onto Zooplus website, spotted SureFlap read reviews, ordered, delivered and fitted within 3 days - great! Our cats took to it immediately and so far no hassle from unwanted visitors. Heartily recommended.

Excellent - but !!!
I wish i'd bought this ages ago, its been a gods send, my cats find it easy to get in and out of, it gives me freedom and them, BUT the only problem is when it blows a gale and the cat(s)come in the flap stays open making it easy for ugly - a feral cat to come in and eat everything in sight and wee in my house, so i would of like the magnet to of been a bit more stronger. I am going to do what another customer has done and put tire weights on bottom of door. Other than that an excellent purchase.

Can't fault it
Had this for about a year now. Allows the cats easy access to the garden without letting any strange cats in with them! Only thing to note is that you cannot programme specific conditions for each cat. For example either they are all allowed in or all allowed out. This was never a problem until we got a new kitten who kept escaping with the adult cats. I think a more expensive model is available and may be worth it to prevent this issue.

Easy to fit and easy to set up
I was very worried at having to cut a hole in my door but it was relatively easy to do using the template on the Zooplus website. The microchips were easy to put in the flaps memory. Just waiting for the kittens to be brave enough to use it!

Astonishingly good!!
All my previous cats made use of a bog-standard Staywell cat-flap. I tried upgrading to magnetic locking devices, but to no avail. They've all been very intimidated by the VERY loud clunking as they went in and out.
My last two, Russian Blues called Hammer and Sickle, hated it. Hammer simply couldn't understand the 4-way locks at all, so promptly wrecked the flap!
The Russians died about 2 yrs ago, both aged 19.
So, after a break of two years I've acquired two British Blues, brothers named Jago and Bacon!! Don't blame me, my grandsons named them. They're now 27 weeks old, neutered, chipped, and vaccinated. They've been very curious about the cat-flap, and so, last week, my son and I trained them how to use it by 'posting' the cats in and out of the house for about 20 mins.
Whilst not silent, the light noise made by the locking mechanism doesn't worry them at all. The SureFlap responds quickly to their presence, and enables very quick entry and exit.
The cat-flap seems very well made with no sharp edges to catch the cats. Even better, it's run on batteries. It would've been a pain for me to run a mains lead and transformer to the door, so I was delighted to find a battery-driven flap.
Very easy to install, and large enough to accommodate a sure-to-be chunky cat!

It's made all the difference...
Cat flap arrived promptly. Replaced old one with no probs. Have two cats who have used a flap for previous 2 years. One cat got the hang of it straight away; the second is much more nervous and it's taken a month of coaxing to finally get her through - she was scared of the 'click' noise that it makes as it opens. Food was the best bribery. Bit of a hassle to get her to use it but no Toms seem to have visited; so no nasty smells or food guzzled by visitors.

My cat loves it!
I recommend this door.
I paid a professional installer to put the cat door in, so I can't judge how easy the installation is into a wooden kitchen door like mine. The installer had me put the cat's head through the door twice. and it picked up my cat's chip immediately (she was chipped two months ago, so the chip is new). My cat figured out how to go out the door about 1 minute after installation.
Learning how to come back in was harder, as my cat tried to pry it open with her paws and didn't figure out for a while that she had to wait for the click to let her back in (it doesn't click when she goes out) and that she had to go in head-, and not paws-, first.
So I had to go outside and pick her up a few times and push her head through it, and she then learned how to get back inside. It did take a few more tries before I was satisfied that she knew how to open it from outside, and she now proudly goes in and out on her own.
She's a small cat and the size is appropriate for her, as I don't think she would have coped with squeezing through the standard-sized flaps, which are much smaller.
I bought this door because it has a 'curfew' timer mode, so that my cat can only go out during the times I program (which are daylight hours). It will let her back in after the curfew time, but she is very unhappy that it currently clicks shut at 5pm every night to prevent her going out, and I find her regularly sitting by it during the night trying to will it to open! So I usually push a box against the cat door when it's programmed to be shut so that she gives up trying to pry it open. But she also doesn't understand that the microchip door keeps the local bully cat out, so my cat often sits inside our back door guarding her flap from invaders (the box against the cat door helps allay her fears at night).

happy relaxed BIG cats - at last!
This product is both brilliant and inspired. Our two cats had for years been terrorised by regular attacks from the neighbours' vicious and cunning black tom, which woke us night after night with fights and food theft. Sureflap has instantly solved the problem and after only three weeks our cats are noticeably more happy and relaxed - they seem to sense that "their" house is now safe from feline intruders.
Installation was - even for a DIY duffer like me - a doddle, requiring only a couple of millimetres enlargement of the cutout for our previous "Staywell" flap.
Hint - an easy way to register your cat's chip pre-installation is to use the unit, door down and in recognition mode, as a feeding bowl and offer a couple of cat treats placed on the inner surface of the door.
I was worried about the size of our cats (6kg and 6.5kg) in view of adverse reviews on this issue. All cats are however lithe creatures and both our monsters "swim" quite effortlessly through the device.
Finally may I use this forum to congratulate the boss of Sureflap on the best ever antidote to domestic feline terrorism.

Brilliant!
This cat flap is great, it is well made, was easy to programme, much easier to install than previous flaps and being the larger size has ample room for my 8 Kg kitty to get in and out. It also has options to increase the time the door unlocks for - great for cats that dither outside for ages before coming in (I have an ex stray that likes to check who is in the kitchen before entering).
I had a problem with another of my cats in that it was not picking up his microchip (due to the strength of his microchip signal) and the door wouldn't open for him so I emailed Sureflap customer service and they were brilliant! Problem was resolved quickly and efficiently and I now have 3 happy cats and the local bully cat is very frustrated with not being able to get in. I am also saving £££s on cat food bills. I would certainly recommend this for anyone who has large cats (or small dogs) and wants to stop all the neighbourhood cats from wandering in as they please.
I would also recommend buying with confidence from Sureflap as a company - they sent me a range tester to check the unit was working properly - it was so they told me how to put it into high power mode to increase the strength of the signal. This did the trick but if it hadn't they were going to order me a specially modified unit with a longer tunnel. That's excellent customer service in my book!

Safe at last!!
What a fantastic product. Easy to set up and link the cats micro chip. Another cat was coming in our house and chasing our cats and eating their food...we even caught him in our bedroom at 3 o'clock in the morning! Our cats are now safe from the neighbourhood bully!! We wish we had bought this weeks ago. Our cats were staying away from the house for longer and longer each day and when they were home they wouldn't settle and were on edge all of the time. They are now home and so relaxed...what a difference. The cat flap is expensive but in our case was well worth the money.
