Poor
Not sure why Zooplus are still selling this product. It is clearly inferior quality and the buying team should address otherwise overall custom will be lost

Why have you changed the product !
I have been using this litter for many years with no problems. However recently noticed there has been a change of packaging and also a change in the size of the pellets. I buy this product as I have 4 Longhaired Persians and they didn’t get stuck in the paws resulting in Little tracking. I have now noticed a steady stream of pellets making there way up the stair carpet. This litter is way more expensive than the normal Cats best and I am afraid I will have to look at an alternative.

Not as good as it used to be...... Why?
I have used this litter for a very long time. After having tried many, many different litters, this one was without doubt the best of them all. Pricier than some, much better than the tiny granules of other clumping litters. I have recommended it to so many people. It is with great disappointment that it seems something has changed . Although still good at odour control and tracking , it does not clump anywhere near as well as it used to. Where I used to easily be able to take the clumps out, now it crumbles and you spend ages trying to remove the left over bits. Please whatever you have changed, change it back to how it used to be.... I am almost getting to the point of looking at other litters 😞

Changed
The product that I got this last time does not clump as before. It now breaks up a lot and uses far more litter than it did. Please revert to original formula as it is now not nearly as good or economical as it was.

Seems to have changed and is less "clumpy"
This is still great for not too much tracking and keeping the smells down, but the pee clumps don't seem to set as well as they used to so it breaks apart and the whole tray ends up with bits of disintegrating damp litter mixed in.
This is a real shame as I didn't see me ever changing and now I think I am going to ahve to start searching again :(

Ok but not that good.
Absolutely no smell however it's not as clumping as the reviews make out. If you pick out pee it just crumbles and goes all over the place. Also the pellets are just too big to use a scooper so lots of wasted litter.
Would be top notch if it was more clumping.

Wouldn't buy again
I didn't realise that this is essentially a wood pellet type litter (should have checked and not relied on the 'plant fibres' description). I used wood pellets in the past, this brand does not clump very well (wood pellets don't tend to) and you end up shovelling out 'clean' litter when you're clearing out. It also comes in a large sack which was so heavy I couldn't lift it. I wouldn't buy again. But if you like wood pellet type litter, you'll like this.

Not as good as the oeko plus
We have been using cats best for over 10 years now and usually go for the oeko plus; since our new kitten has long fur we thought we give the nature gold a go, but it is not worth the extra money. You will use up more because it does not clump as well and the thicker granulates do not fit though the holes in the scoop. Cats best is great, but the oeko plus is our preferred option.

wouldn't buy again
Like most cat owners, I am on the eternal hunt for the perfect cat litter, this isn't it. I have 4 maine coons with beautiful long coats, fluffy tails, and extremely furry toes, which is obviously why it does stick to their fur, most breeds don't have such furry feet, so not really suitable for this breed in particular, it does track quite badly because of this, but not anywhere near as bad as the plus (my house looked like an explosion in a porridge oat factory!), and it doesn't clump extremely well either, when you try to scoop it out it falls apart and leaves small urine soaked bits still in the box which in turn start to smell, which defeats the purpose of using a clumping litter in the first place. It doesn't last as long as the plus,it doesn't clump as well as the plus and it's more expensive.

OK but not great
I was over the moon when I found this litter - one that clumped and could be composted, supposedly didn't track out of the litter box and controlled odours. However, my only real gripe with it is that it does track out of the box, to the point that I have woken up in the morning to find my bed full of litter where one of my cats has climbed under the duvet to keep warm and I am always having to vacuum up litter from around the tray.
