It’s empty in here!
We have used this litter for some time now and all four of our Birman cats seemed to like it. They even used it in preference to the garden! It is very absorbant and no matter what is left in the litter tray the smells seem to remain there. We have to rely on visual checks, rather than anything else. It is easy to clean up as it clumps well and there is little evidence of it being trailed around the house, even with the furry feet of the Birman.
I am a very large Maine Coon girl. I have very long fur - a huge tail and very furry feet. This litter is brilliant for me. No mess - good clumping product and my litter tray is always fresh.I even introduced my breeder to it and we are both sure this is the best litter on the market, for long haired cats. Thank you Zooplus!! I'm glad to say that my human agrees with everything I've said.
I have two Persians, and have tried absolutely EVERYTHING else that there is to try, nothing else comes close to this. Both my Cats are indoor Cats and without this then smell would be unbearable, but instead, other people do not smell anything when they enter the house, and are very surprised that they are indoor cats using a litter tray. It doesn't track either. Dont waste your money on anything else.
I have two 5 month old kittens and have tried a few litters recently, namely Yesterday's News, World's Best and World's Best multi-cat. So far this is the best I've tried for a few reasons: it has no smell of its own and is excellent for the odour, it's a nice light colour so you can actually see and fish out the cat poo quite easily and also there is no major dust issue. My one complaint is that the clumping action isn't great. The clumps break up very easily and you end up with lots of tiny urine-absorbed clumpy bits which are very hard to sift out as they are the same size as the pellets. So this does mean changing the tray much more often if you want it to stay hygienic. Another issue is that it tracks terribly, but for this I recommend an excellent tracking mat by Sage King (about to review that next!)
this one is the best cat litter ive ever bought a little pricy but worth every penny, clumpings well and absorb the urine quickly, also the smell is covered well( i dont mean this is not any smell). last for about 5-8 weeks depends on the frenquency you change it. no mess when clean it, easily flushed away in toilet, just love it. and its the 4th time ive purchased it, just give it a try, you will save a lots of time and concerns!
Tried many different cat litters but this one is by far the best. Very little tracking - no smell - clumps well - easy to flush down the loo - lasts for ages. I wouldn't buy any other.
Having tried many of the biodegradable litters on the market, I am very pleased with this one. No nasty smells, clumps well, no mess and my house is always clean (I have a ribbed mat for litter boxes witch helps a lot, however with the other brands I still had litter everywhere). My cat has long hair, and it does not stick to his fur.
I use this product in the Litter Spinner. This litter box needs a clumping litter that clumps solidly and withstands the tumbling action of the box. The grains are slightly too large to go easily through the filter but with practice it works well. If I used an ordinary litter box I would use this. I haven't found any better.
With over 40 years of cat ownership and the not so desirable task of cleaning out the litter box, this is without doubt the best litter I have ever used. And believe me, I must have tried every brand on the market till I found this! Seasoned cat owners will know what a nasty stench cat wee has! This litter obliterates that smell completely! It clumps well and all my 3 cats use it regularly. It is lightweight and very easy to clean out. The very slight drawback is some bits do get carried out by the cats but its not a major problem. I happily put up with this slight inconvenience for the major advantage of not having nasty smells emanating from the litter box anymore! I recommend this product to all my friends and family and would encourage anyone to try it! It would be the end of the search for a near perfect litter!
Like most cat owners, I am on the eternal hunt for the perfect cat litter, this isn't it. I have 4 maine coons with beautiful long coats, fluffy tails, and extremely furry toes, which is obviously why it does stick to their fur, most breeds don't have such furry feet, so not really suitable for this breed in particular, it does track quite badly because of this, but not anywhere near as bad as the plus (my house looked like an explosion in a porridge oat factory!), and it doesn't clump extremely well either, when you try to scoop it out it falls apart and leaves small urine soaked bits still in the box which in turn start to smell, which defeats the purpose of using a clumping litter in the first place. It doesn't last as long as the plus,it doesn't clump as well as the plus and it's more expensive.
This litter is excellent. Hardly any mess, clumps well and for a multi cat household it is brilliant. I tried the oko plus which was good but very messy with litter being tracked everywhere. This is as good but without the tracking. The only downside is the price. Much more expensive than the oko plus which is always the same when you find something that works.
Up until recently I have always used Catsan, but now living in a 2nd floor flat, I decided to try Cats Best mainly because it is disposable. Because I have 4 cats, there used to be a lot of cat litter to get rid of but now I can just flush it down the toilet. As one of my cats is long-haired I changed from the ordinary Cats Best to the Gold and it is wonderful. I won't be changing again!
this product is the best till now as ive tried the original one, but my kitten is a ragdoll and she would carry some of them around, and the original one is a bitter smelly, this one is not, and suitable for long hair kitten. in all, nice, clean, clumps well, last for a week, usage may be 6-8weeks/20L
I have a long haired ragdoll and other products I've used either stuck to her coat or ended up everywhere in the house. This is a fantastic product. The pieces are large so there is hardly any 'tread'. I clean the litter tray daily and simply flush the clumps down the loo. I'm quite new to cat ownership and was worried that the litter tray might smell but it TOTALLY does not! All down to this product I'm sure (plus regular tray cleaning of course) :)
We have 3 house cats and Cats Best describes this litter perfectly, it definitely is the best we have used. Makes life easier too as it can be disposed of by flushing.
This litter is the best i have ever used for my cats , no smell at all, does not tread everywhere.....amazing long lasting .....recommend ++++
Amazing litter, and my cats have tried them all...no smell and ease of use ++++....just amazing
it would be nice if we could order this. Has been unavailabale for over a month now. Will you be getting any more or keep putting us off with future dates
I have tried every litter that's made, including one that changes color if your cat is ill. Very very expensive. I have 9 cats of my own, 2 of which are house cats, plus i foster mums and their kittens usually 5 or more at a time, one family after another. This is definitely the best. Its easy to remove and pop it straight down the toilet. The smell is absorbed pretty well too. I just wish that you would not run out without giving us warning, as you are one of the few sites that does this product.
I have two cats at the moment and have tried virtually every type of cat litter over 50 years of owning cats. This is without doubt the best I have ever known. I use an enclosed litter tray and have a litter trap at the entrance which minimises any tracking. There is no smell it clumps amazingly and the litter, if regularly attended to, I do it at least twice a day, never needs changing as the clumps are easily removed in a single scoop and work best if you have deep enough litter. The surrounding litter remains absolutely dry. My tray is 8 inches deep and I fill it with at least two to three inches deep of litter. The only thing I do from time to time is sieve out the powder that eventually forms and wash the tray returning the sieved granules back to the tray. This makes it incredibly economical in use despite its initial cost as there is no wastage other than the clumps which are thrown away as a near solid lump.
For years i've used Cats Best, but my long haired Ragdoll carries the litter around the house,so i have to hoover every day and sometimes twice a day. So fed up i decided to try Cat's Best Nature Gold and now i will never use another litter again. We now have litter free carpets!! If you have a long haired cat you really must try it.
Living on the Isle of Man, the choice of shops & therefore products is limited. I have tried loads of different brands of cat litter & although I have to order Cats Best Litter online it is still the best litter available. It does what it says on the packet - odour control & clumping, all you have to do on a daily basis is remove the clumps leaving a clean, fragrant litter tray!
I've tried lots of different litters and definitely prefer the wood based ones. This is even better as it clumps so doesn't turn to sawdust when it gets wet. It's very easy to clean out and there's hardly any mess around the litter tray. I wouldn't use anything else now I've found this. Love it!
We tried a few different litters but our cats like this the best. It keeps odors to a minimum and being able to flush small amounts down the loo is so convenient, especially for city dwellers. It does track a little, but much less than other varities we tried.
Our cats have been using this for over a year now and it really is the best cat litter you can get. We tried many other products before finding this one and will not be going back.
My persian 'tracked' the ordinary cat litter around my house, I used to find it everywhere! Since I used this I would never go back. It doesnt track and he seems to like it too. Flushes down the loo easily too. Great product!!
I have used this product from day one with my beautiful Burmilla. It was recommended by my friend and breeder. As a kitten she had no trouble using it what so ever and now at 4 years old she'd be miffed if I changed to something else. But why would I? No smell, clumps beautifully and easy to flush away. Very, very little mess. My experience is it works out cheaper in the long run and I have recommended it to friends who say, although more expensive than some litter products intially, they are saving money now as it doesn't need changing so often and lasts longer. The majority of people give this product the thumbs up. Give it a try and if it's not for you swap back!
i have tried almost every litter on sale and this is by far the best,. with six house cats the tray is always in use it only needs one full change a week and the smell is nil because all waste gets removed, as it clumps so easily a little bit off tracking but only a couple of feet around the tray and easily swept up seems expensive but as you only need one change a week isint really. will keep buying as long as stocked. thanks
I switched over to Nature Gold from Catsan Hygiene as it seemed kitties don't like the idea of wee staying in their box! Haven't had any accidents in the house since switching and it's great not having to do a complete litter change twice a week. I have , however, had to purchase a big Catit litter scoop as the clumps are absolutely huge! Shame as I think a lot of litter is wasted due to the size of the clumps. The clumps seem to crumble a bit sometimes as well. The odour control isn't as good as Catsan Hygiene, but a few strategically placed Neutradol room fresheners seems to have done the trick!
I have tried them all, believe me. From the most expensive to the cheapest. the oko is a simular products but the bits are so small my kittens chuck it up in the air and it get everywhere even in their coats. I have gone back to this. The pieces are easy to pick up. The kittens dont seem to regard this as chucking up in the air stuff, and the odour control and clumping are really good. Could afford to come down in price a bit, but apart from that i will definately stick to this produce.
I changed to this after using Cats Best Oki Plus, I thought this was great cat litter but the amount of time that I would spend vacuuming it from around the house was ridiculous. I changed back to a clay based product so that there wasn't as much tracking around the house but was getting really irritated with the mess that it made in the tray, how difficult it was to clean out and the lack of odour control. I decided that as a last attempt I would try Nature Gold. It's fantastic! There is very little tracking, it scoops out of the tray so easily and it tackles odours really well. To top it off, it looks a lot nicer in the tray as I have an open tray. I would highly recommend it.
This is excellent stuff. It is so handy to be able to flush the waste down the toilet, and not have to keep plastic bags of it hanging around til bin day. Ecologically sound too, and adds to my compost heap. Seems expensive, but it lasts longer than cheaper litters. Recommend to to anyone to try.
I have got two fluffy Maine Coons and I have been using this product for about 6 weeks now. I am so, so glad that vacuuming the floor every two days is finally over. There is a few pellets here and there but it is NOTHING to compare with what it has been before. Just to mention that I have used Cat's Best Oko Plus before and it is a great cat litter but not for long hair cats. I wasn't sure if my cats will like the pellets, so for the first couple weeks I was spreading Cat's Best Nature Gold on top. It worked, they got used to it. The only thing that you have to be careful with is flushing it - it is clumping into really big clumps.
Really easy to remove when clumped, keeping the box clean and odour free. Not too dusty, and very soft for cat's paws. I'm actually saving some money with this litter, compared to the silica gel I was using before, and I get the benefit of the low impact on the environment =)
I started of with the Cats Best OKO Plus for our large fluffy Maine Coon and had a terrible time clearing up the tracking and the litter was getting everywhere. This litter is so much better and we now only get a few pellets around the door to the tray. I would strongly recommend anyone who has a long haired cat to try this product. Only slight downside is that it does not last quite as long the Cats Best OKO, but well worth it because of virtually no mess.
I've been using World's Best litter for a year now for 2 cats with the only complaint being the tracking of dust. Always on the lookout for good value flush-able litter (especially since one cat pees more than I thought imaginable for such a small creature thus running through litter very quickly), I am now giving Cat's Best Nature Gold a try. At first I tried to mix it with World's Best and disliked it. But a warning, do not mix this with any other finer litter otherwise you end up with mixed cement-like clumps and a horrible sawdust smell. Now using it entirely on its own, I do prefer it to World's Best because there is no tracking at all though I have to be a bit more careful with the disposal. Yet to see if in the long run it is cheaper though.
Only had my two kittens for 8 weeks and had been using Worlds Best Cat Litter. Thought I really liked it but the constant trail of powder dust everywhere they had walked was getting me down. So, I looked on the internet and found so many excellent reviews about this cat litter. Wasn't sure at first whether they would like it - pellets instead of the usual cat litter material. But they are fine with it. I love it, no smells, it clumps brilliantly, is economical and no powder trails. Wouldn't use any other now. Yes, it is expensive but worth every penny! Just wish Zooplus could arrange communication with the courier on the customers behalf to leave it in a safe place at home Work full-time so it's a pain when it arrives and no-one in. Then have to re-arrange
This litter does everything it claims. I've got 4 housecats and have tried every type of litter going, including mixing different types to try and counteract the smell. This litter does not smell, and has low track. Would not use any other kind now.
I've got two indoor cats and have tried many litters over the years. I've always preferred wooden litter as it seemed to absorb odours better but the sawdust that inevitably got carried out of the tray was a constant pain to clean up and it made cleaning out the litter tray really messy. This litter is great - the same odour-absorbing qualities as wood pellets (in fact, probably even better!) but it clumps so it is so easy to clean out the tray and there is minimal spread outside the tray. A brilliant product.
I originally used the cat's best oko plus and was very happy with it apart from the dust and tracking (semi-longhaired cats). I moved onto this and those problems have vanished! There is no dust at all, no tracking (just a few pieces daily outside the box). And as with the normal cats best it has great odour control, clumping, is flushable, lasts ages and is compostable. I actually can't think of one bad thing to say :o)
